HealthViewer
Firebird Systems LLC
Your health history is scattered. HealthViewer brings it together.
Lab results end up spread across patient portals, PDFs in your email, and printouts in a drawer. HealthViewer puts them all in one place on your own computer, so you can see how your health is actually changing over time.
Import from almost anywhere
• Drop in lab report PDFs, CSV files, or MyChart and CDA health record exports. You can bulk-import dozens of files at once.
• Connect directly to your health system's patient portal and download your results automatically. Supported systems are Epic (MyChart), Oracle Health (Cerner), athenahealth and eClinicalWorks, covering thousands of hospitals and practices.
• Duplicate results are caught automatically, and units are normalized so that values from different labs line up.
See the trends
• Chart any test over months or years, with its reference range shown on the chart.
• Overlay several biomarkers on one chart, or compare two lab dates side by side.
• Medication start and stop dates, plus your own journal entries, appear right on the charts. You can see whether a new prescription or a lifestyle change moved your numbers.
• The dashboard highlights values that are trending in the wrong direction before they become a problem.
Walk into appointments prepared
• Built-in reports include Lab Summary, Appointment Prep, Medication Effect and Annual Review.
• You can also build custom collections of trends for a specific condition or specialist.
Your whole health record, not just labs
• Track medications and supplements, vaccinations, procedures (with file attachments), your healthcare providers, and a symptom journal.
Private by design
• All your data lives in a single file on your computer, protected with AES-256 full-database encryption (SQLCipher). Only your password can unlock it.
• No account to create, no cloud sync, no analytics, no telemetry.
• Works fully offline.
• Export everything to CSV or JSON at any time. Your data is yours.
Optional AI assistance, on your terms If you want it, connect your own API key from providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Groq. You get help reading unusual lab report formats, plain-language explanations of biomarkers, and summaries for appointments and medication effects. It's off unless you turn it on.
Simple pricing Try it free for 7 days with no payment required. After that it's $24.99, one time. No subscription. Available for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows.
